I started my career in eye care in August of 2021 after seeking a change of scenery from the pharmacy field.
Tell me what accomplishments you're most proud of
I am most proud of graduating from Pennco Tech, Blackwood with a certificate in pharmacy. Immediately following, I took my PTCB boards and became a nationally certified pharmacy technician.
List up to 3 things you enjoy doing on weekends
- On the weekends I enjoy taking day trips with my two boys,
- Reconnecting with my closest friends, and
- Going on date nights with my husband.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don't know about?
I am very skilled at doing at home manicures.
What are you happiest doing when you're not working?
I am at my happiest when I am spending quality time with my kids and husband. To me, family is everything.
What would be your personal motto?
"Let go of who you think you're supposed to be; embrace who you are".
What's the most inspiring part of your job?
The most inspiring part of my job is styling patients in frames and making them feel good about themselves. It's so rewarding to find that perfect frame. When I catch them in the mirror smiling, it makes me smile.
