At Premier Eye Associates, we believe that great vision starts with great habits. Whether you’re wearing Gentle Vision Shaping System (GVSS) retainers, scleral lenses, or soft contact lenses, proper care plays a big role in comfort, performance, and long-term eye health. We’ve created easy-to-follow visual guides to help you manage your lenses with confidence.
Use the infographics below to review application and removal steps, along with helpful tips for getting started with your lenses!
GVSS (Gentle Vision Shaping System) Lens Care
GVSS, also known as orthokeratology or “ortho-k,” is a safe and effective overnight contact lens system designed to gently reshape the cornea while you sleep. In the morning, you’ll wake up with clear, lens-free vision throughout the day.
Scleral Contact Lens Care
Scleral lenses are ideal for patients with dry eye, keratoconus, and other complex vision needs. These large-diameter lenses vault over the cornea and rest on the sclera (the white part of your eye), providing exceptional comfort and stability.
Soft Contact Lens Care
Soft lenses remain the most common contact lens type — and they’re also the easiest to neglect. Even small mistakes can lead to irritation or infection. Review these tips to stay comfortable and keep your eyes healthy.
